Michel P. Haggerty,

MICHEL P. HAGGERTY graduated from Marist College and earned his law degree from Vermont Law School in 1977. While at Vermont Law he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Estate Planning. He was admitted to the New York State Bar and U.S. Tax Court in 1978. He is a longtime member of both the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).  He serves on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section for the Ninth Judicial District. Mr. Haggerty is also a Life Sustaining Fellow of the New York Bar Foundation.

As a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, Mr. Haggerty is deeply invested in his community.  He currently serves as the President of the Starr Library in Rhinebeck, while also contributing his time and support to the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, Sinterklaas, and other enriching community programs.
